Judge Named Suspect in Indonesian Bribery Case

An Indonesian judge, Judge Syarifuddin (pictured here), was named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) after he was caught receiving a bribe in his North Jakarta home earlier today. Foreign currency worth Rp 2billion were confiscated in three different envelopes by the KPK, along with a Mitsubishi Pajero and an additional Rp250 million on Judge Syarifuddin himself.

The Judge had recently acquitted Bengkulu Governor Agusrin M Najamudin of corruption charges.
