Thousands Protest Against Tymoshenko’s Arrest

More than 5,000 opposition activists took the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day to protest against the arrest of opposition leader and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who has been in jail since August 5th on charges of contempt of court.
