Goal of the project: the public monitoring of oblast program implementation of a child health improvement program run by the Kirovohrad oblast Department of Family, Youth, and sports.
In 8 pilot cities in different regions of Ukraine, the experts of the project together with local working groups implemented principles of efficient and ethical governance by establishing a local services registrar and developing informational cards concerning the certain services, by setting out ethical rules and behaviour rules of employees of local government, and creating ethics commisions and public councils on a local level.
The project consisted in a campaign meant to form intolerant attitudes to corruption in higher educational establishments of Kirovograd City.
The goal of the project: organizing of anti-corruption bus tours to different areas of Ukraine, with the final conference in Kyiv afterwards.

The National Anti-Corruption Program (hereafter, NAP) is a system of concrete focused activities and projects of NGOs in Ukraine, aimed at curbing and lowering the level of corruption. Within its framework 132 NGOs were working in different regions of the country on about 40 projects aimed at monitoring the Government, providing legal assistance and education to citizens, and promoting the transparency of national and regional governments.
The main task of the NAP is to change society’s attitude to the problem of corruption and the liquidation of the pre-conditions for its existence.
The form and mechanism for the realization of the Program is oriented towards the maximal cooperation with the current system of government structures for combating corruption and utilizing the current anti-corruption laws. It foresees to use a concrete number of measures both quantitative and qualitative during its realization, and to achieve both short and long term goals. An important task of the NAP is to achieve visible results quickly within the realization of the Program.
In the framework of the general project Theater of Political Drama, several theater performances were shown, devoted to fighting corruption in the country and society.
Public services rendered to the rural population in Uzhgorod region were analyzed and mechanisms to protect the receipt of services were developed. Aimed at overcoming the rural population’s lack of knowledge concerning their own rights and corruption challenges, a handbook of services was prepared, published, and distributed among citizens and local self-governments in the region. A number of awareness-raising measures to introduce transparency principles were held in pilot villages.
The project consisted in the creation of a documentary movie, showing the process of taking bribes by police officers and further arrest procedure.
The project consisted in organizing 11 round-tables with representatives of district government administrations, city and village councils on the topic “Development of sectoral partnership for counteraction corruption on local level””.”
Organizing of a legal school for teenagers and their teachers with a purpose of development of anticorruption behavior skills and protection of their rights, promotion of anticorruption behavior among teenagers and their teachers.
The project consited in the creation of community liaison offices in regions and Kyiv City with a purpose of receiving of public complaints, and providing legal consultations.
An extensive awareness campaign was conducted jointly with the rayon State Administration of Dnipropetrovs’k oblast.
The project consisted in the preparation and publishing of brochures for the Tax Police officers with comments and explanations to the newly adopted anti-corruption legislation. It also included the drafting of a code of ethics for Tax Police.

EUCCI coordinated the work of ACTION’s Public Anti-Corruption Advocacy Network focused on construction and city development and fulfilled the work on transparent procedures of construction and city development.
