Jordan

Public Integrity Index: 6.92

Jordan is doing comparatively well against both the region and its income group, in particular when Courts and administrative burden are concerned. Strained by the instability in the region resulting in a fluctuating population and other threats, it struggles to keep afloat and make some progress. Limited press freedom and activism for good governance hinder an effective disclosure of corruption and perpetuate an immunity culture for certain individuals or groups.
